About Me

1.    My Starbucks order is a venti iced coffee. Black with caramel sweetener.
It doesn't matter if it's 100 degrees in July or below freezing in January, nine times out of ten this is my favorite drink.

2.    My favorite show is Vanderpump Rules, otherwise I’ll watch any cooking show.
Season Four hasn’t been as good without Stassi, but fingers are crossed she’s going to make a comeback.

3.   I’m a Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, Jayhawk.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk. I had the best college experience and sometimes I like to pretend that I didn’t actually graduate.

4.   I graduated with a degree in Journalism.
I’ve always enjoyed writing and I’m excited to start using my blog to remember why I really love it.

5.   I’m obsessed with peplum tops.
I think I have a peplum top in every color, not even exaggerating. I just think they are the most flattering shape for me.

6.   My nails are usually painted in OPI Cajun Shrimp or Mod About You.
Those have been my two favorites since I was in college. I used to be obsessed with Essie polish, but know I’m convinced that OPI is actually the best.

7.   I work in fundraising.
I develop newsletters and other direct mail pieces for my clients. It’s an exciting position where every day is different and challenging, but I also get to be creative.

8.   I’m an Alpha Gam.
Probably the biggest reason I had a good college experience was my choice to go Greek. I joined the chapter that was truly the perfect fit for me. I made some of the best friends I’ve ever had and my experience helped me develop as a stronger person.

9.    My favorite candle is Mediterranean Fig by Capri Blue.
Can be purchased at Anthropologie. Explaining a scent is so hard, but this candle smells like luxury and is warm and inviting. I’m obsessed and I always have it burning in my bedroom.

10. My real name is Virginia.
But I’ve always gone by Ginny. Once I got to college my name got shortened to Gin, and it’s stuck ever since.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
